Cosmetic Dentistry FAQ

Are you accepting new patients ?

Yes! Please contact the office at 905-668-6301.  We offer a full variety of services to all ages.

How do I transfer my records from my previous dentist?

In order to transfer records we require your consent. You will need to sign our release form and the information will be forwarded to our office from your previous dentist.

Do you accept all insurance policies?

Yes we do, however every policy is different and payment depends on the terms of your policy – please check with your insurance carrier for further details.

Is there free parking at your office?

Yes!  We have ample free parking behind our office – off Kent Street.

Do you offer any late appointments?

Yes, we are open on Tuesdays until 7 pm and Wednesday until 8 pm to accommodate our patients that cannot book appointments earlier in the day.

Is your office wheelchair accessible?

Yes, we have a custom made ramp that we have for the back door for our patients that use walkers and wheelchairs.

When do you recommend a first visit for a child?

For regular care we recommend that you book your child anytime after their 3rd birthday.  Prior to that age we recommend that you bring them in with you and we can show them around and give them a “ride in the chair”.

How do I prevent tooth decay?

We recommend that you brush regularly; at least 3 times and day and floss at least once a day.  Regular check-ups with your dentist will allow him or her to detect tooth decay at an early stage.

What is periodontal disease?

Periodontal disease is a disease that attacks the gums and bone around the teeth.  If left untreated can result in bone loss which may lead to the loss of teeth.  If we suspect that you may have periodontal disease we will refer you to see Dr. Michael Landzberg, our Periodontist for a consultation.
